Forgiveness cannot be constricted by words; it is something given, something received, and something that brings peace to the mind and soul like not much else can. It is a noun, a verb, and is absolutely essential to a well-lived life. If anything, forgiveness means reaching a destination that proves life is far too short, far too precious, and far too full of possibility to waste even a second of unnecessary negative energy. It is a reality check. Conflict is a part of growth because it means that you held strong to a belief or an action, regardless of whether it was good or bad. But resolution and forgiveness are the fruit of that part of a person’s growth, and nourishes the heart more than pride ever could.
