Obstacles

What matters are not the obstacles we are presented with, but rather the paths that we find to get through them—the people, ideas, words, faith, and hope that we can use to light the way. What matters is our willingness to use the good that life gives us to our advantage, in the face of the option to bow out. Darkness is not a definable condition but merely the absence of light, just as adversity is not a circumstance, but rather an opportunity that has yet to be infused with faith and used to our advantage—a weakness that has yet to be turned to strength
